yup, if live in los angeles this should be pretty cool. the roosevelt hotel has just been re-done and the pool is opening - kinda old school palm springs meets old school miami. just say you're there for the Fischerspooner/West Indian Girl after party and you're good to go with full access to the pool bar and lunge area. this event happens wed june 1st after the show. it is being brought to you by none other than hiedi goodtimes (the best promoter in la) so you know its gonna be rad. the address is 7000 hollywood blvd., but you enter off of orange st and there is valet parking. see you there star stalkers --F.TEN

We just saw you last night at the HOB San Diego... such a good show. Plus I really did want to buy that shirt and I would've bought the CD too even though we had it already, but we had no cash -- we were actually amazed at how friendly you were tho. See you guys at Street Scene

Your show at the Henry Fonda Theater was great! Mariqueen - I shouted out to you as you were walking off stage. I think you heard me 'cos you turned around and waved. You rock! The only reason I didn't shout your name Fran was that it contains no hard consonants and I don't exactly have the loudest voice. Man, does that sound like the weirdest thing to say, but it's true.

I saw you on Friday at the HOB - Anaheim and just had to say that you guys are just amazing. My boyfriend and I just absolutely fell in love with your band. (I enjoyed your performance more than Fischerspooner's...but, sssshhhhh! that's on the downlow. haha.) "What Are You Waiting For" was the perfect ending to your set. It gave me chills, especially Mariqueen's voice shining through. You've scored yourself two new huge fans, that's for sure!
And the best thing was meeting you and Mariqueen after the concert and having you sign my new fav CD. You guys were the coolest, most down-to-earth people ever. I look forward to hearing you again hopefully sometime soon!!!

Yo! You've probably heard this before... but you've really got something here.. I went to HOB looking forward to Fischerspooner.. I thought "who is west idian girl....? Are they electroclash?" but after the show, I couldn't stop thinking about your songs. Left a bigger impression than Fischerspooner. The SECOND I got home, searched you guys up on the internet and bam! Went to virgin & got your CD and booked tickets for your show at the troub. Crap...I'm hooked ei!

The local new NPR station up here in Minneapolis, 89.3 "The Current," has played some of your stuff and I - middle aged in Minnesota with kids and a mortgage and a minvan but still loving cool new music - heard it, loved it, and immediately downloaded some - even paid for it! Now part of the core rotation on my i-Pod. Unfortunately I'll be out of town when you come to the Twin Cities in late July - any chance of coming back in the fall? I like the blog and how connected you seem to be with your listeners. Try hard to keep that up as you soar into the world of fame and fortune... Best of luck on the road.
